Hotel Kanala - Deba

The hotel is conveniently located near the Camino.

I faced a frustrating issue with my reservation. The staff informed me that my cancellation was completed, but later I was charged for a night I didn't stay. Communication about the cancellation process was poor, and despite my efforts, I received no assistance from management.

I had nice stay, the place is absolutely great!

I greatly enjoyed the stay. It was best base for travelling to Deba, I was glad to stay there. Very amiable and affable staff, spotless rooms with private bathroom, free Wi-Fi. The rate was £ 62. The location was particularly good on the camino route.

This was a pleasant stay for a night. The location of the hotel was great, on the camino route. Moreover, it was adjacent to restaurants, the bus stop, and the Camino del Norte. We got a room with a bathtub.

Positive, The room was excellent with a large balcony and amazing views of the coast and hills. The restaurant is top class, serving great food with a friendly vibe. Plus, I loved the complimentary tea and coffee at reception. I'd definitely recommend this place 😊

The room was spotless with private bathroom and very good shower, for instance, the staff were very amiable and efficient, did everything.

Lovely hotel, the stay was nice, favourable location to the bus stop where I thought. I greatly enjoyed the room with private bathroom, the bed was comfortable. The food was excellent, with plenty of options.

Fine Views and Kind Staff

I was captivated by the beautiful, airy bedroom that offered fine views of the surrounding landscape. The prawn and mushroom ravioli I had for dinner was beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were kind, especially a lovely male waiter. I enjoyed a complimentary toast and coffee before leaving, a nice touch! The hotel's location isn't the most central, which can be a bit of a drawback after a long day on the Camino.

Request a room away from the road to minimize noise, as it can be disruptive at times.

The double or twin room was super comfy with a spacious balcony that had amazing views of the coast and hills. I really liked the complementary tea and coffee setup in the reception, nice touch! The bed felt cozy, perfect for a solo traveler. Only wished there were no minor issues to sort out, but they didn't ruin the vibe.

The room was excellent with a large balcony boasting fine views, and the restaurant offered fantastic local dishes. A cozy bar area with generous gin tonics was a great addition.

The beautiful airy bedroom offered fine views. I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious prawn and mushroom ravioli prepared by the talented kitchen staff. The staff were lovely, especially the older male waiter who went out of his way to assist me, and I appreciated the kind gesture of complimentary toast and coffee upon my departure.

There were some minor issues with my room that needed attention.

Air conditioning worked well. Wi-Fi was spotty at times.

the check-in process took longer than expected :( but the room had a large balcony with stunning views of the hills and coast! the restaurant’s food was truly wonderful, and the complimentary tea and coffee in reception felt so welcoming! !
